The device uses a servo motor to drive a flexible shaft, rotating an eccentric wheel inside the percussion head at high speed, generating high-frequency, directional, low-amplitude mechanical vibration and percussion force. The vertical component penetrates the chest wall to loosen sputum adhered to airway walls; the horizontal component creates directional thrust, guiding sputum from small airways to the main bronchus. Combined with the nebulization function to humidify airways and dilute sputum, secretions are finally expelled via patient's cough or suction, simulating the physiological mechanism of manual chest percussion.
