The instrument ejects a controllable, soft linear air pulse to the central cornea through the nozzle, flattening the corneal surface to a preset standard shape (specific planar area). The built-in optical detection system captures the corneal deｆormation in real time, the pressure sensor synchronously monitors the air pressure in the cylinder, and the microprocessor automatically calculates and converts the instantaneous pressure and optical signal into an intraocular pressure (IOP) value.
