变压器闭合的油路系统中通过油的浮力、重力的变化而对流循环流动。即在变压器油箱内部，被变压器油所包围的发热元件（例如绕组与铁心等）加热了周围的变压器油，受热的变压器油密度变小而形成浮力向上浮动，下部温度较低的油随之取代了上浮的油，使变压器油在变压器绕组及铁心等发热元件中自下而上的流动。如果不能及时散热，设备过热就会造成损坏，影响变压器的正常运行。油冷机能够持续稳定地把油温保持在一定范围内。有效地解决了变压器及时散热，以免设备过热而造成绝缘损坏，影响设备正常使用。
按照冷却或者散热的方式的不同来划分，可以分为水冷形式的和自然风冷形式的、带压缩机冷油机的。水冷形式的冷油机指的是冷凝器是依靠外加的冷却塔来进行散热的。而风冷形式的冷油机则是依靠机器自身所带的风扇来进行散热的。带压缩机冷油机是一款工业冷油机比较直接的冷却方式，通过压缩机制冷循环油降温效率高冷却稳定。
油冷机介绍
冷油机组采用先进的微电脑智能化控制系统，准确控制工业生产过程所需的各种温度（10℃～35℃）。不仅调控温度全面实现人机界面功能且保证机组控温精度高达±1℃。对于其他温度范围可按要求定制。

2、配有精密电子温度控制器，准确控制油温（或其他介质），常规温度范围10～35℃，控制精度±1℃
3、机组采用高低压控制保护器。
4、选优质油泵，膨胀阀（毛细管）、干燥过滤器等部件匀采用美国艾默生品牌，稳定耐用。
5、内置压缩机超负载保护、冷油泵超负载保护、系统高低压力异常保护、开机延时保护、逆相、缺相、过欠压保护等保护装置，确保机组安全可靠运行。
6、蒸发器可根据不同用途选择如（油箱盘管式、不锈钢板式、壳管式、）。
7、风冷式冷凝器采用蜂窝铝翅片串高效纹紫铜管配合高效轴流式风机，换热效果非常好。
8、静电喷涂外壳欧化设计，美观大方，外表板采用快捷拆装形式，方便使用和维护。
