波峰焊是将熔融的液态焊料，借助于泵的作用，在焊料槽液面形成特定形状的焊料波，插装了元器件的pcb板置于传送链上，经过某特定的角度以一定的浸入深度穿过焊料波峰而实现焊点焊接的过程。此过程是在波峰炉中进行的，pcb板经过波峰炉后必需尽快降温，尤其是pcb板上的电气元器件对焊接后的降温速度有一定的要求时，而现有的冷却装置仅仅为一个或一组散热扇，降温速度不够快，达不到pcb板上某些电气元器件对焊接后降温速度的要求。
使用过无铅波峰焊的人应该都知道，无铅波峰焊的应用会产生大量的热量，而这些热量的存在是需要及时的散去的，所以在无铅波峰焊设备当中，通常会安装一些冷却装置，主要在使用之后起到一定的散热作用。当然，除了散热之外，也可以防止焊点冷却疑固时间过长造成焊点结晶颗粒长大，在无铅波峰焊中添加冷气机冷却装置，也可以使焊点快速降温，让焊点迅速成形。
冷却系统是整机内的第四道工序，其作用是经运输送到的电路板经过焊接后高温回损坏电子元器件，需进行快速冷却，确保焊点的共晶效果。

1.机组压缩机选用原装进口品牌日本-松下，法国Maneurop(美优乐)，美国Copeland(谷轮)，德国BITZER(比泽尔)等中低温型压缩机；

5、风冷式冷风机不需要装接冷却水塔，适用于杂质较差的环境。（冷水塔内易混入杂质，灰尘造成冷却水循环回路堵塞，引起冷却能力下降）。
6、风冷式冷风机适用于水质差缺水的地域，可以节省冷水塔用其它配件。
7、采取大容量冷凝器、炎热也能轻松运转。
8、大限度减少占地面积，安装方便。
9、风冷式冷风机采用顶出风散热，侧面送冷风设计。
