薄膜吹塑机是将塑料粒子加热融化再吹成膜泡的装置，因此膜泡需要先经过冷却定型的过程后在进行收卷。如果对于膜泡的冷却是采用在室温下自然冷却的方式，由于存在季节性原因，室温并不是一个恒定的数值，因此膜泡在室温下的冷却其实既不完全又不均匀，这样收卷后的薄膜的收缩系数远远超过其理论值，造成薄膜在终收缩完后出现严重的厚薄不均的现象，造成产品质量的不合格。
