薄膜吹塑机是将塑料粒子加热融化再吹成膜泡的装置，因此膜泡需要先经过冷却定型的过程后在进行收卷。如果对于膜泡的冷却是采用在室温下自然冷却的方式，由于存在季节性原因，室温并不是一个恒定的数值，因此膜泡在室温下的冷却其实既不完全又不均匀，这样收卷后的薄膜的收缩系数远远超过其理论值，造成薄膜在终收缩完后出现严重的厚薄不均的现象，造成产品质量的不合格。
现在的用于膜泡的冷却装置主要是采用冷风机将冷风吹进吹膜机摸头的外风环，对膜泡进行外部冷却，但是造成膜泡的内外两侧冷却程度不均匀，造成薄膜的透明度差的问题。用青金制冷品牌研发的冷风机是一种薄膜吹塑加速内冷却装置,通过位于吹塑机头出料口内侧的直筒与导向板直筒的周壁通风口进行吸风冷却提高产品质量效率。
