高分子材料以高分子化合物为基础的材料。高分子材料是由相对分子质量较高的化合物构成的材料，包括橡胶、塑料、纤维、涂料、胶粘剂和高分子基复合材料，被称为现代高分子三大合成材料的塑料、合成纤维和合成橡胶已经成为国民经济建设与人民日常生活所必不可少的重要材料。
尽管高分子材料因普遍具有许多金属和无机材料所无法取代的优点而获得迅速的发展，但目已大规模生产的还是只能在寻常条件下使用的高分子物质，即所谓的通用高分子，它们存在着机械强度和刚性差、耐热性低等缺点。
在对部分高分子材料进行加工合成，需要对其进行粉碎，这样不仅能够加速化学反应，而且还能够使得反应更加充分和彻底，若粉碎后物料的尺寸还没有达到要求时，就需要再对物料进行研磨，进一步细化物料的颗粒。现有技术中的高分子材料的粉碎研磨装置使用不便，在对高分子材料进行粉碎时容易产生大量的热，因为没有相应的散热结构，高分子材料容易发生热熔现象，影响成品质量。
通过冷水机在冷却管内循环冷却水，使得上磨盘保持低温状态，防止下磨盘和上磨盘摩擦产生的温度过高，影响粉碎效果。
冷却机(冷水机）介绍
QX系列冷水机主要由压缩机、冷凝器、热力膨胀阀和蒸发器四大部件组成，采用单蒸气压缩制冷系统，利用制冷剂的气液相互转换，吸收和释放热量的原理，达到制冷的效果。
QX系列开机后
（1）压缩机开始工作，制冷剂在压缩机的压缩作用下变成高压高温气体，往排气侧的方向循环；在循环过程，高压高温的制冷剂气体通过冷凝器
（2），与空气发生热交换，由气态转变为液态，同时被空气带走热量；冷媒冷却过程，液态的高压冷剂通过热力膨胀阀
（3），压力下降，部分制冷剂由液态装变为气态，此时制冷剂为液态和气态两相混合的状态；冷媒节流过程中，制冷剂通过蒸发器
（4），在蒸发器内与冷冻水发生热交换，冷却冷冻水到所需的温度，满足设定要求；经蒸发器后的气体制冷剂循环回到压缩机，完成一次制冷循环。
