阶梯格栅是一种可以连续自动拦截并清除流体中各种形状杂物的水处理设备，可广泛地应用于城市污水处理。自来水行业、电厂进水口，同时也可以作为纺织、食品加工、造纸、皮革等行业废水处理工艺中的筛分设备，是目我国的固液筛分设备之一。阶梯式格栅是对国外技术消化后，结合国内污水处理工程的具体情况，由我厂自行研究、开发、制造的一种新型格栅。它挂广泛应用于城市污水及工业废水中的漂浮物和悬浮物的清理，也可以用于泵站污物的清理，是水源处理的理想设备。阶梯式格栅主要由动格栅、静格栅、动力及传动装置、电气控制系统四部分组成，动、静格栅为锯齿形状交替布置，通过传动机构驱动动格栅做偏心回转运动，将污物从静格栅的一个台阶送到上一个台阶，直至到格栅顶部落入接污槽内。

安装步骤与维护
1、阶梯式格栅机周围应保持清洁,每天至少检查和清理一次。严禁将木块、木板及其他杂物投入格栅池！
2、在运行过程中，如有纤维状杂物缠绕在转刷轴上，应及时清理，以免影响机器的正常运行，应根据垃圾量的多少，定期清理挂在卸料板上的垃圾。
3、经常检查减速机油封是否漏油，损坏的油封应及时更换。油位不足应及时加油并定期更换，一般设备投入正常使用后半个月需更换新油，以后每隔三个月更换一次。
4、机架壁上的四个轴承必须定期润滑，油品为锂基润滑脂。每隔30天注入一次。
5、本机应避免长期停机，保证设备各部处于良好工作状态。因故停机超过7天时，必须排尽污水，格栅不得长期浸泡在不流动的污水中。
6、电气维修应由业人员进行，维修时应切断电源。47、阶梯式格栅除污机操作人员应熟悉其性能，掌握操作、维护、保养的方法。

阶梯格栅是由一种独特的耙齿厂装配成一组回转格栅链。在电机减速器的驱动下，耙齿链进行逆水流方向回转运动。

耙齿链运转到设备的上部时，由于槽轮和弯轨的导向，使每组耙齿之间产生相对自清运动，绝大部分固体物质靠重力落下。另一部分则依靠清扫器的反向运动把粘在耙齿上的杂物清扫干净。

按水流方向耙齿链类同于格栅，在耙齿链轴上装配的耙齿间隙可以根据使用条件进行选择。当耙齿把流体中的固态悬浮物分离后可以保持水流畅通流过。整个工作过程是连续的，也可以是间歇的。
