手持式电波流速仪采用K波段电波对河流、污水、泥浆、海洋进行非接触式的流速测量。该仪器体积小巧、手持式操作、锂离子电池供电、使用简便。不受污水腐蚀、不受泥沙干扰，通过非接触式测量，确保了测量者的安全。

仪器包括一个高敏感度的平面窄带雷达探头和角度计，仪器采用手持式操作。内嵌的操作软件是菜单式的，容易操作。
