This product is a specialized testing instrument developed by our company for measuring the strength of airport pavements. Its development is based on the Danish Dynatest 8000 series drop weight deflection meters, incorporating technical advantages from international brands such as JILS and Carl-bro, and integrating the practical characteristics of Chinese roads and the needs of testing institutions.

Working Principle

The drop weight deflection meter operates by lifting a heavy weight to a preset height via a hydraulic system, then releasing it to perform a free fall. The weight impacts a bearing plate placed on the tested pavement, inducing a certain amount of deformation. Simultaneously, the data acquisition controller collects measurements from the deflection sensors (closely contacting the pavement) for ground deformation and from the load sensor for impact force. The system can also collect ambient air temperature, pavement surface temperature, asphalt temperature, and GPS data.
