通过约4.5小时的固相ELISA方法，对培养细胞上清、血清和血浆中的猪肾上腺素水平进行定量检测。其包含大肠杆菌表达的重组猪肾上腺素蛋白和抗重组猪肾上腺素蛋白抗体。该免疫检测显示能精确定量重组因子，用自然猪肾上腺素检测的结果显示，计量反应曲线与试剂盒内重组蛋白标准品所做曲线相一致，说明该试剂盒能用于决定自然猪肾上腺素的相对量。
The quantikine swine epinephrine/adrenaline immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid phase elisa designed to measure epinephrine/adrenaline levels in cell culture supernates, serum, ａnd plasma. It contains e. Coli-expressed recombinant swine epinephrine/adrenaline ａnd antibodies raised against recombinant swine epinephrine/adrenaline. This immunoassay has been shown to accurately quantitate the recombinant factor. Results obtained using natural swine epinephrine/adrenaline showed dose response curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the recombinant quantikine kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural swine epinephrine/adrenaline
