New generation inverter with air cooling, installable on the motor terminal board, which can be used with horizontal and vertical EBARA centrifugal pumps, and mounted on motors from MEC 71 up to MEC 132. Inclusive of 2 RS485 ports for communication and parallel operation of up to 8 pumps, and for connecting to monitoring systems with ModBus connection. The versatility of this solution enables it to be applied to different types of system, and it can be used for different types of application.

EBARA has introduced E-SPD+ to better meet the requirements in terms of maximum energy saving, pressure variations, reduction of operating costs and acoustic comfort.

E-SPD+ significantly extends the range of applications and functionalities; the models available are as follows:

• E-SPD+ 2200 MT for installation on 230V three-phase pumps with up to 2.2kW nominal power

• E-SPD+ 4000 MT for installation on 400V three-phase pumps with up to 4kW nominal power

• E-SPD+ 4000 TT (M112) for installation on 4 poles 400V three-phase pumps with 4kW nominal power

The special features of the new solution are:

• Highly flexible, enabling it to be used with centrifugal pumps, both horizontal and vertical, and courtesy of the wall installation kit (optional), the E-SPD+ can also be combined with submerged pumps.

• Versatility of design, which enables it to be installed on EBARA pump motors from MEC 71 up to MEC 132

• Innovative LCD display for viewing and changing operating parameters and for keeping track of the history of the key parameters, faults and alarms. Its cover can be rotated 180° for easier reading;

• System protection against overcurrents, input voltage fluctuations, dry running and losses in the system;

• Easy installation and programming thanks to the highly-intuitive and user-friendly software;

• Connectivity is provided by 4 configurable digital inputs, 2 configurable digital outputs, 2 analogue 4-20 mA inputs, 1 0-10v input, and 1 input for PTC.

The E-SPD+ also has 2 RS485 ports for communication and parallel operation of up to 8 pumps, as well as for connecting to monitoring systems with ModBus connection.
