The Stotz PEW Transducer is used to convert back-pressure from an air gage to an analog electronic signal to be sent to a machine tool PLC or other input device. The PEW produces a voltage signal proportional to the diameter change. This signal can be displayed on various devices or can be used to control process machining. The PEW contains no moving parts and is therefor free of wear. The response time of the PEW is 250 ms.
