Appleton™ Powertite™ 系列插头、连接器和插座用于为移动或固定的电气设备供电，例如发电机组、焊机、水泵、压缩机、蜂窝中继站、可控硅/变频器机房等类似设备。它们非常适合需要防雨罩体的场合，如“船到岸”以及备用/临时电源应用。该系列结构坚固耐用，提供多种电流等级，具有间距较大的触点并嵌入内部熄弧室、绝缘块以及耐用的氯丁橡胶密封套。Powertite 插销式插座可提供仅壳体（样式1）或壳体加额外极（样式1）接地两种形式，以实现安全的“先接地、后断开”接地功能。正极性设计确保只能使用相同样式、极数和安培等级的插头。插头配有机械式电缆夹，防止电缆受拉。30A、60A、100A 和150A Powertite 插头（ACP）在与 Appleton EBR、EBRH、JBR、MD2SR 或 DBR 防爆互锁插座配合使用时，也适用于有危险场所（分类场所）。

Appleton™ Powertite™ Series Plugs, Connectors and Receptacles are designed to supply power to portable or fixed electrical equipment such as motor generator units, welders, pumps, compressors, cellular relay stations, SCR/VFD houses, and similar equipment. They are ideal for use where a weatherproof enclosure is required such as "ship to shore" and backup/temporary power applications. These units offer rough usage construction, a wide range of amperages, and feature widely spaced contacts recessed within an internal arc snuffing chamber, insulating blocks, and a durable neoprene sealing bushing. Powertight pin and sleeve receptacles are available in either shell only (Style 1) or shell plus extra pole (Style 1) grounding to provide safe, make first, break last grounding. The positive polarization ensures only plugs of the same style, number of poles, and amperage rating may be used. The plugs have mechanical cable clamps to prevent strain on cables. The 30, 60, 100, and 150 Amp Powertite plugs (ACP) are also suitable for classified locations when used with Appleton EBR, EBRH, JBR, MD2SR, or DBR explosionproof interlocking receptacles.
