ChemiDoc™ XRS+ 成像系统是以高分辨率和高灵敏度的 CCD 为成像检测技术为基础，模块化设计，支持多种检测方法，包括荧光，比色，光密度，化学发光和单色化学荧光等，满足绝大多数样品检测。该系统是由 Image Lab™ 软件控制，使系统性能得到优化，从而使成像达到快速、自动化和分析的统一。该系统通常和 PCR，蛋白纯化系统和电泳系统配合使用，适用于限制性酶解，核酸扩增，基因指纹，RFLP，蛋白纯度和特征分析。
