分体式冷油器结构: 由于创新的采用了分体式结构（室内机和室外机两部分），将热量较大的冷凝器和噪音大轴流风扇设计在室外机，室内冷冻油循环部分置于压缩机、油泵、蒸发器、电气控制，因此考虑到有些工厂车间对环境要求，冷油机的热风排放比一体式冷油机在车间热风无法排放问题得以更好处理。
冷油器一般都是采用机械压缩式的制冷装置，其基本的元件共有五件：压缩机、蒸发器、冷凝器过滤器、和节流装置，五者是相通的，其中充灌着制冷剂（又称制冷工质）。压缩机象一颗奔腾的心脏使得制冷剂如血液一样在冷油器中连续不断的流动，实现对设备温度进行冷却调节。
油冷器制冷剂通常以几种形态存在：液态、气态和气液混合物。在这几种状态互相转化中，会造成热量的吸收和散发，从而引起外界环境温度的变化。在从气态向液态转化的过程，称为液化，会放出热量；反之，从液态向气态转化的过程，叫做汽化（包括蒸发和沸腾）要从外界吸收热量。
