在很多食品工业中，食品通过高温加工过后，为了能够快速的进行包装，需要使食品的温度能够满足包装的要求，此时就需要用冷水机对加工后的食品进行快速、高效的冷却以满足要求。
此外，在食品发酵的过程中，也需要不同的温度以稳定发酵的需要，所以为了能够保证产品发酵的质量，我们也需要用到冷水机。
