TruSlice Specimen Cut-Up Grossing System
| This system uses cut inserts to vary the slice thickness from 2mm, 3mm, 4mm ａnd 5mm to obtain the desired specimen thickness. The use of a clear Perspex immobilization plate, as shown in the above photo, enables the grosser to control pressure to the specimen ａnd aid in cutting tissue slices that are not deformed.
The system is manufactured with 316 stainless steel. It is designed to allow quick ａnd easy cleaning.
An optional calibration set is available for the user to check the accuracy of specimen thickness. A complete list of available accessories can be seen below.
