The MegaRAID SAS 9380-8i8e 12Gb/s SAS ａnd SATA RAID controller card addresses these needs by delivering proven performance ａnd RAID data protection for a range of server storage applications.

This card is powered by SAS3316 dual-core RAID on Chip (ROC) processor ａnd 2 GB DDR3 memory to deliver fast processing needed for complex RAID calculation. With two SFF-8643 (internal Mini-SAS HD) connectors ａnd two SFF-8644 (external Mini-SAS HD) connectors, this card offers 16 native SAS/SATA ports ａnd supports expansion to up to 240 drives. PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface provides ample bus bandwidth to take full advantage of the latest SAS 12 Gbps drives. Large heatsink keep the card running cool ａnd stable even under heavy reading/writing workloads.
