保存条件Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month ａnd for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

产品介绍background:
The protein encoded by this gene is a polypeptide hormone whose actions appear to be restricted to the nervous system where it promotes neurotransmitter synthesis ａnd neurite outgrowth in certain neuronal populations. The protein is a potent survival factor for neurons ａnd oligodendrocytes ａnd may be relevant in reducing tissue destruction during inflammatory attacks. In addition to the predominant monocistronic transcript originating from this locus, the gene is also transcribed as a readthrough transcript with the upstream Zfp91 gene. The resulting protein is an isoform of Zfp91 ａnd does not include Cntf sequence. Readthrough transcription of Zfp91 ａnd Cntf has been observed in human ａnd mouse.

CNTF is a survival factor for various neuronal cell types. Seems to prevent the degeneration of motor axons after axotomy.
