Tissue Growth Technologies was founded in 1990 as EnduraTEC Systems Corporation, with the charter of becoming a world-class provider of material test instruments to the biomedical community. Over the subsequent decade, the company introduced many new test equipment innovations ａnd built an international customer base.

In 2000, the company recognized the need for mechanical stimulation for tissue growth applications ａnd began developing a line of associated instruments. By leveraging the company＇s broad expertise in controls, precision low force motors ａnd transducers, the company introduced its first ITEMs Tissue Growth Instruments soon thereafter.

In 2004, the company sold its material testing product lines while retaining its tissue growth assets, allowing greater focus on the development of new products for the tissue growth industry.
