产品介绍：The Toll like receptor family in mammal comprises a family of transmembrane proteins characterised by multiple copies of leucine rich repeats in the extracellular domain ａnd IL1 receptor motif in the cytoplasmic domain. These proteins recognize different microbial products during infection ａnd serve as an important phylogenetically conserved mediator/link between the innate ａnd adaptive immune responses. Like its counterparts in Drosophila, TLRs signal through adaptor molecules. The TLRs characterised so far activate the MyD88/interleukin 1 receptor associated kinase （IRAK） signaling pathway. Ten human homologs of TLRs （TLR1 10） have been described.TLR6 was first identified as a close homolog of TLR1, sharing 69% sequence identify. Like TLR1, TLR6 can form heterodimers with TLR2, ａnd these TLR6:TLR2 dimers coordinate macrophage activation by Gram positivebacteria ａnd the yeast cell wall particle zymosan. Activation of these complexes not only initiates proinflammatory cascades, but also can lead to apoptotic responses.Subcellular Location : Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Cytoplasmic vesicle, phagosome membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.Tissue Specificity : Detected in monocytes, CD11c+ immature dendritic cells, plasmacytoid pre-dendritic cells ａnd dermal microvessel endothelial cells.Similarity : Belongs to the Toll-like receptor family.Contains 12 LRR （leucine-rich） repeats.Contains 1 LRRCT domain.Contains 1 TIR domain.Subunit : Binds TLR2 via their respective extracellular domains.
