SimplyBlue™ SafeStain 是一种即用型的快速、灵敏且安全的 Coomassie® G-250 染料 (Coomassie® G-250 stain)，用于对聚丙烯酰胺凝胶分离的蛋白质条带进行染色。该染料消除了制备染色溶液所需的大量时间和成本。与传统 R-250 和某些 G-250 Coomassie® 染料 (G-250 Coomassie® stain) 不同的是，SimplyBlue™ SafeStain 对人体完全无害，并且无需甲醇或乙酸固定剂或脱色剂。避免了接触有毒物质和难闻气味的风险，创造更健康的实验室环境。 SimplyBlue™ SafeStain 实验方案简单易行，在 3 小时内即可完成（图 1）。要加快速度，可采用简单的微波方法，在 12 分钟内即可完成。无需脱色，但也可通过脱色获得最高的灵敏度，特别是需要进行下游分析（如质谱）或需要水晶般透明的背景的时候。只需染色 5 分钟即可检测到 1 微克的蛋白。如果再加上水脱色步骤，可以检测出少至 7 ng 的蛋白（还原 BSA）
