The4250givesyougreateraccuracyinapplicationswhereweirsorflumesarenotpractical,orwheresubmerged,fullpipe,surchargedandreverseflowconditionsmayoccur.Withareavelocityyoudon’thavetoestimatetheslopeandroughnessofthechannel.AndIsco’sexclusive500kHzDopplerpenetratesfartherintodeepflowstreamsthan1MHzsystems,whoseshorterwavelengthcancausethemtogive“nearsighted”velocitymeasurementintypicalwastewaterapplications.TheDopplersystemcontinuouslyprofilestheflowstream,eliminatingprofilingandcalibrationrequiredbyelectromagneticsystems.
