吹膜机是将塑料粒子加热融化再吹成薄膜。吹膜机分很多种，有PE,POF,PVC等等。用全新的粒子吹出的是新料，色泽均称，干净，袋子拉伸好。
塑料吹膜机的冷却方法可分为两种：外部冷却和内部冷却。
1、外部冷却方法是早应用的方式，在冷却环的作用下，通过一个沿挤出方向和膜泡外表面的圆形环上释放冷却空气来产生在环周围均匀的冷却空气。在冷却环的里面，上口的空气以相对于下口上更快的平均速度被排出。保证了膜泡的形状与空气冷却环的相一致，使得空气的平均流速增加并因而提高了热量传输。
2、内部冷却直接通过膜泡散热达冷却目的。因为膜泡内空气的流速相对低，并且毫无规律性，所以外部冷却较占优势。吹膜机吹塑过程中，要保证薄膜产品的质量，必须考虑薄膜形成膜泡的稳定性，才能有效控制产品合格率。吹膜机吹塑薄膜的产量，除了受到膜泡的制约，还要考虑到吹膜机冷却系统。一个完善的冷却系统需要吹膜机合理的配置和稳定性。纺布等，主要还是根据实际需要确定。
