LYZ型螺旋输送压榨机适用于城镇污水处理厂，住宅小区污水预处理装置、市政雨/污水泵站及自来水厂啤酒糟；豆渣；薯渣淀粉类，主要适合于造纸纸浆，畜禽粪便，屠宰污泥，酒糟，果品，沼气池，食堂泔水等物料的脱水再利用，尤其适用于富含植物纤维的物料脱水回收，用于含有一定纤维物料的榨汁和脱水作业，如经果汁分离后的鲜葡萄皮渣或者发酵后的葡萄皮渣、沙棘果、芦荟、生姜等果蔬的榨汁；发酵后的酒糟、木薯渣的脱水；玉米芯渣、绞股蓝、甜叶菊、白菜、乌拉草、芹菜，中药渣、菊花等的脱水；以木材、麦草、稻草、芦苇等为原料生产全化学制浆和半化学制浆的纸浆黑液提取及洗涤后的脱水等。同时在污泥脱水、垃圾处理方面也有广泛应用。特别它能将禽畜原粪水分离为液态有机肥和固态有机肥。液态有机肥可直接用于农作物利用吸收，固态有机肥可运到缺肥地区使用，亦可起到改良土壤结构的作用，同时经过发酵可制成有机复合肥。

螺旋压榨机是拦污格栅的配套设备，它是由进料斗、压榨螺旋、螺旋管、排渣管和驱动装置组成。格栅捞取的栅渣或过滤后滤渣从进料斗进入螺旋管，在压榨螺旋的作用下被挤压、脱水。从物料中被挤出的水透过滤网汇集到接水盆并由排水管排出，物料被压缩后经排渣管排出，从而可以大大地减少栅渣等杂物的重量和体积。螺旋压榨机由排水区、进料区、螺旋输送区、出料区组成。
