JBK型框式搅拌器与搅拌轴的连接方式类似于桨式，即叶轮与搅拌轴连接的一端制成半圆状的轴环，然后两侧叶片的两个半圆环用螺栓在搅拌轴上夹紧，同时用穿轴螺栓来固定叶片与搅拌轴。由于叶轮的外廓尺寸大，为便于装拆，叶片之间多数是螺栓连接。叶轮以扁钢、角钢制造居多，为了提高叶轮的强度，也可采用加筋的钢板。

JBK型框式搅拌机由电机、减速机、机架、搅拌轴、桨板、联轴器、水下支座等组成。

主要优点：

JBK型框式潜水搅拌机可视为桨式搅拌器的变形，其结构比较坚固，搅动物料量大。框式搅拌器与容器壁间隙较小，有利于传热过程的进行，常用于传热、晶析操作和高粘度液体、高浓度淤浆和沉降性淤浆的搅拌。

JBK型框式搅拌器直径较大，一般取反应器内径的2/3～9/10，50～70r/min。快速旋转时，搅拌器叶片所带动的液体把静止层从反应容器壁上带下来；慢速旋转时，有刮板的搅拌器能产生良好的热传导。

JBK型框式搅拌器一般使用于粥状物料的搅拌，搅拌转数以60-130r/min为宜，适用的黏度为200～300Pa·s。
