管道式粉碎型格栅为管道法兰式安装，将管道输送介质中的固体物质、悬浮物以及细长纤维等粉碎为小颗粒状，随污水一同流走。为处理现代社会产生的污水和污泥而设计，可以处理所有 进入社区、工业废水收集站和污水处理系统中的各种废物，切割力强且节省电源。污水处理过程中主要应用于污泥消化池，减少污泥消化循环的污泥量，加快消化速度，减少循环时间。
工作原理：
夹带固体颗粒的污水通过管道式粉碎型格栅，污水中的固体颗粒经过粉碎区时被粉碎机的两组刀片破碎成足够细小的颗粒，细小颗粒随污水流向下游后，将不会再对下游设备造成威胁。
设备配置：
管道式粉碎型格栅主要由驱动装置、主动轴、从动轴、切削刀片组、密封、机体等构成。驱动装置带动主动轴转动，同时主动轴通过精密齿轮带动从动轴转动，使固定于两轴上的刀片呈逆向旋转，将固体物切割破碎成细小颗粒。
性能特点：
安装简易灵活，适用于大部分现有渠道，无需改造;双轴设计，适应更多种类的固体颗粒，相互独立的刀片和垫片安装在两个逆向旋转的轴上，交替重叠，实现螺旋形切割，达到良好的切割效果;
刀片可选，镀钛刀片和垫片可选，比普通刀片更耐磨，使用寿命比普通刀片延长2-3倍;
密封，采用机械式组合密封装置，无需对密封进行冲洗，无需调整密封填料压盖，使用和维修过程中非常方便，耐高压。
