刀长对刀仪（Primo LTS）可单独使用，也可与Primo Radio Part Setter（工件测头）和Primo Interface（接口）结合使用，共同构成机床上的全自动化设定系统。LTS工作时不需要Primo Credit Token（充值币）。

当刀具碰触到接触垫片时，Primo LTS（刀长对刀仪）触发。触发信号通过硬线连接电缆发送至机床控制器，自动计算刀具长度。雷尼绍LTS应用软件提供一套用于Primo LTS（刀长对刀仪）的独特的循环，以进行对刀、刀具破损检测、热补偿和设定检查。
Primo LTS（刀长对刀仪）用于在加工环境中运行，因此它能够抵御切屑或冷却液的影响并防止冲击或振动引起的误触发。
How does primo lts work?
When the tool touches the contact pad, primo lts triggers. The trigger signal is sent to the machine tool controller through the hard wire connecting cable to automatically calculate the tool length. Renishaw lts application software provides a unique cycle for primo lts (tool length alignment instrument) for tool alignment, tool breakage detection, thermal compensation ａnd setting check.
Primo lts (tool length setting instrument) is used to operate in the processing environment, so it can resist the influence of chips or coolant ａnd prevent false triggering caused by impact or vibration.
