Mouse Anti-folic acid抗体
Catalog Number : HZ35800 Quantity size : 0.1ml (dilute with pH 7.4
0.01 M PBS or antibody diluent )
Background: Folic acid and folate (the anion form) represent the water-soluble
form of Vitamin B9. Leaf vegetables (such as spinach and turnip greens), dried beans
and peas, liver, sunflower seeds and certain other fruits and vegetables are rich
sources of folate. Folate is necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells,
especially during rapid cell division and growth. It plays an important role in DNA
synthesis and repair, and is specifically important in preventing changes to DNA that
may lead to cancer. Folate deficiency leads to the production of megaloblasts, large
red blood cells that result in megalo-blastic anemia. Folate derivatives, in the form of
tetrahydrofolate compounds, are involved in the synthesis of dTMP and dUMP, and
also in several single- carbon-transfer reactions. Low folate levels are associated with
a number of illnesses, including heart disease and stroke; breast, pancreatic and
colon cancer; rheumatoid arthritis; lupus; psoriasis; asthma; sarcoidoisis; primary
biliary cirrhosis; and inflammatory bowel disease.
Specificity :
– folic acid is a mouse monoclonal antibody.
– specific for folic acid antibody of human
– use for western blotting, elisa, immunoprecipitation and immunohistochemistry
– Protein G affinity chromatography purification, purity :>95%
– Isotype: IgG
Application :
– Western blotting 1:100-500
– Immunohistochemistry 1:100-500
– ELISA 1:500-1000
– Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
Storage: Store at -20 ℃ for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for
greater than a year when kept at -20℃. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M
PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 ℃.
Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for
use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications.
